Violette Zohar

As a mixed media artist I am compelled to create with rescued and unique materials to be transformed into an art form. My assemblage paintings evoke both a futurist chronicle log and
historical archaeological testimony.
Employing a range of materials and painting techniques, I build my compositions seeking to work history into the layers.

Violette studied painting and many other forms of art. After completing her Chemical Engineering degree, she apprenticed under Masters of visual art from a range of academic, classical and impressionist.
Most recently, contemporary and mixed media artists are her favourite source of inspiration.
