Doriz Anderson
Studio 350 | Doriz Art
When I am painting, I leave behind all of the implied boundaries defined by our society. I lose sense of time, of who I am and the energy is borderless and free.
Unconsciously I tune in to vibrations that are expressions of love or interpretations of our world chaos.
I want my art to make a difference whether it's hanging in a private and quiet part of your home, a corporate boardroom, or a bustling public lobby. I want you to look at my work and have it cultivate and inspire your own vision, be it orderly, chaotic or otherwise. You decide.
Doris Anderson is an international abstract painter residing in Vancouver, Lower Mainland, B.C., Canada.
She creates her abstract, acrylic paintings by focusing on the spiritual and painting in the moment. Her intention is that her art works may bring to each viewer a moment of reflection. Collectors of Doris’ artworks have remarked that they find mystical slices of time within her artworks.
She has exhibited her abstract artworks successfully throughout the world for the past eleven years. Also she is the recipient of ten local and international awards. Most recently her painting, The Magic of Solstice was juried into the ANCIENT AND CONTEMPORARY – DIALOGUE ON ART, an international group exhibition in COLLE DEL DUOMO MUSEUM, in Viterbo, Italy. This exhibition in February 2023 was curated by Claudio Giulianelli, Director of Mega Art Gallery, Italy.
Doris Anderson’s paintings are held both locally and internationally in private collections.
