Brent Granby is a Vancouver based artist born in 1962 in Hamilton Ontario. Brent is working in the intersection of utility, technology and desire. In painting he is attempting to develop a dynamic tension that explores representation, colour and agency. As an artist he has been exploring issues of sustainability and the effects of our choices of machines on the landscape, memory and the human body.
